Cohort 8 – Rounding Home Plate!

Many thanks to cohort 8 participant Tracey Biles, VP of Mission at Mercy, for inviting all the current members of cohort 8 to the Cardinals’ controversial win over Cincinnati last Thursday, September 29.

Cohort 8 of the Executive MA in Health Care Mission gathered last week for their final integrative seminar and retreat with Sr. Jean Deblois.  Sr. Jean was the original inspiration for the MA in Health Care Mission, which began in academic year 1999-2000.  Members of each cohort gather for an intensive during each course of the program for study with the professor, and spiritual and leadership formation with the AOR leadership team.  This opportunity for both community-building and formation is one of the distinctive components of the program, and it provides other unique opportunities, such as attending a Cardinals’ game!

We wish to congratulate all the members of Cohort 8 as they prepare to complete the program (they will graduate in December, and participate in May graduation), and wish them continued success in their service to the healing ministry of Jesus through Catholic health care.  We are very proud of the work you’ve done!
